Welcome to Sandy and Alex

Yesterday, we ordained and commissioned two new elders for Humbie Church, Sandy Wilson and Alex Campbell. During the service, they told us a bit more about themselves and their families, before making their vows as elders. 

The congregation and longer-standing elders also had an opportunity to renew their commitment to our church. The service was rounded of with a short celebration of Holy Communion after the main service, and coffees and teas in the Stables, all in brilliant sunshine and with the first spring flowers adding colour to the surroundings. ​
