It is available here. ![]() From 8 January, our Sunday service will start at the earlier time of 9.30am. Up until this summer, the linked parishes of Humbie and Yester, Bolton and Saltoun Church held three Sunday services – two at 10am, and one at 11.30am, resulting in a need for pulpit supply every week. Since then, Yester, Bolton and Saltoun Church has decided to hold only one Sunday service, which now alternates between the villages every week, and which allows Anikó to take the services both there and in Humbie on most Sundays. However, for some people the change from a 10am service time to 11.30am was very severe, and the later time is proving difficult to meet for some of the congregation. To allow for a compromise that works for the majority of people, and to enable Anikó to see both congregations on most Sundays, the Humbie Kirk Session have agreed to change the Humbie service time from 10am to the slightly earlier time of 9.30am, thereby allowing Yester, Bolton and Saltoun Church to move to an 11am worship time. This change will be implemented from the New Year, starting on 8 January (after services at 11am on Christmas Day in Yester Church, and on New Years Day in Humbie Church). We very much hope that you will help us in making this change work. |
